Pinterest and Your Business

Pinterest has grown rapidly since its inception in March 2010. Studies have shown that in 2012, American users of social network sites spent more time on Pinterest than on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter combined. How can businesses drive more traffic to their website by using Pinterest?
1. Create your own Pinterest boards and pin appealing and useful information to your followers. Pin eye-catching pictures from your own website and re-pin interesting posts from other users.
2. Make sure that you’re following all the community boards that are in your area of interest and that have a substantial number of followers. Contribute to them regularly.
3. Revamp your website – make it more visual and add the ‘pin-it’ button to every page. Look for enticing photographs to add more colour to your web pages.
Remember to renew your site frequently and check your analytics. It will pay off in the long run.
